A group of 15 or so inexperience cyclists have almost ridden all the way from Melbourne to Sydney on electric bikes in just eight days. They will have demonstrated how easy it is to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, using a small amount of electricity, and a little of Australia's most abundant renewable energy source, human body fat.
Stephen Gale organized the trip to promote the viability of electric bikes as a practical emission free alternative to automobiles. Steve, who doesn't even sell electric bikes, will have completed the entire ride in a business suit - hence the title.
